IT'S TIME TO TAKE THIS ARBOR DOWN AND REPLACE IT WITH A COVER

This cedar arbor was built 11 years ago. It is starting to rot at the ends and around the screws. The new cover will be nice to protect everything from the weather.
The overhang will be removed to get the ceiling up to 8 feet.
The roof pitch is limited to the skylights on the existing roof. It can only be a torch-down roof.
The old arbor is gone and this space is ready for a new cover
What a difference a few minutes can make. We were sitting around wondering if we could carry this beam to the backyard. By the time R.E. Sweeney Lumber in Fort Worth arrived with the beams, we had plenty of help.
This is really a great way to get a  22 ft. laminated beam from the street to the backyard.
