The top will be the slowest part of this project. The oak floor samples have been glued together and sanded. The border is working great using a plate joiner to hold things straight. I can't wait until tomorrow to get the legs and aprons on this little table.

Lowe's Had The Perfect Piece Of Lumber To Complete The Top For This Little Project

This 8 foot yellow pine 2x8 is clear for 6 feet. This will make the two 5 " x 16 " ends.

This piece was perfect for the table, so I thought.

After ripping this 2 x 10, it had to much sap to use.

These 2x4 's are from Lowe's. They were picked for the good wood between the knots

The tongue and groove edges have been removed to true up the edges, and glued together with " 0 " bisquits

This piece finished out at 16 inches by 27.5 inches. It will have a 5 inch border at the ends and a 1.5 inch border along the sides, making it 19 x 37.5

Making A Little Table Top With Floor Samples

These 6 " tongue and groove floor samples from Floors.Org will make the perfect table top for my two grandsons to enjoy. This will be a table and two chairs.

Nothing like new plumbing after 30 years !

The 5 ft. steel tub was a tight fit with the existing sheetrock in place. Time for insulation, new fixture, and tile.

THIS WAS A PERFECT TUB/SHOWER UNIT, BUT THE HOMEOWNER WANTED A CONVENTIONAL TUB WITH TILE. THE ONLY WAY TO GET THIS OUT AND THROUGH THE HOUSE IS IN PIECES. HOPEFULLY THE NEW TUB CAN BE SET WITH THE EXISTING SHEETROCK IN PLACE. WE'LL SEE TOMORROW.
