This speaker came from an old drive-in that was so old, the concession stand was all wood and had caved in.

A NEW GRANITE TOP REPLACED THE OLD WET BAR TOP

 

THE CROWN MOLDING IS INSTALLED AND JUST ONE MORE PIECE OF TRIM TO COMPLETE THE CEILING

GETTING THE FINISH WRAP ON THE ROUGH BEAM STRUCTURE

The center beam finished out at 8" x 8". It will get a 4 1/4 " crown.

CROWN MOLDING AND MATERIAL TO WRAP BEAMS IS READY TO GO FOR TOMORROW

THIS ONE MADE A BIG FAT SKILLET FULL

All trimmed up and loaded with Stubb's spicy bbq sauce and chopped jalapeno. It is simmering now with mesquite smoke. 30 minutes to go.

THIS PIG IS UGLY BUT FALL OFF THE BONE TENDER !

This one took 6 hours at 200 deg oven setting to reach 180 deg

EXPERIMENTING WITH COOKING BOAR MEAT TODAY

After cooking boar meat several ways, cooking in the oven at 200 degrees until it reaches 180 degrees has proven to be best. The last one was cooked by this method, and then simmered in this electric skillet for one hour with Stubb's spicy bbq sauce and one chopped jalapeno. All it needed to be the best yet, was a little mesquite smoke. Today this one will get the smoke as it simmers.

This is along Texas highway 175 in Kaufman. This rainbow was so bright, I had to pull over and take a picture. Look to the right and you can see a second rainbow that is not as strong, but follows the  one below.
